Please lift our class up daily in prayer. It's a wonderful, busy time...but we want to keep our focus on the Real Reason for our celebrations - our precious Savior! These kids are so in awe of the story of the Nativity. It is a joy to start a craft project or story as they ask many questions with wonder and amazement!
Parents/Grandparents Reading -
Bill Grubbs, Monday - Thank You!
Barbara Mansfield - Sarah Kate's grandmother - Tuesday a.m.
Jon Colcord - Joshua's grandfather - Tuesday afternoon
Meghan Grubbs - (and special colors of Christmas cake) - Thursday at 10:45.
Very important Pageant Information:
Pageant practices going well.
Costumes:
Lee class Boys - Cows - all of cow costumes were made by a parent last year (an incredible gift). Adorable! See Vin's picture on right. Your son will need to bring white t-shirt and black socks for feet. Meghan Grubbs brought black socks for hands.
Lee Class Girls - Sheep - (with Mrs. Williams girls). We have ordered costumes (hats and vests). Also adorable! See Kyra's photo to right. Girls will wear white long-sleeve shirt (turtleneck or crew neck) and black leggings or pants and black socks. Meghan brought black socks for hands.
Students need to bring all above items on Wednesday, December 14, for Dress Rehearsal. The above items will stay at school and be ready for Pageant on December 15th.
STUDENTS WILL WEAR REGULAR UNIFORM ON DECEMBER 14TH AND UNIFORM PANTS (BOTTOMS) WITH A CHRISTMAS SHIRT ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15TH.
Meghan Grubbs will be with our class on December 15th from 8:30 through morning routine, and our very simple class party. She will help me dress the kids ready for the Pageant. I will take many pictures at Dress Rehearsal on the 14th, but please come ready for many photos on the 15th.
I NEED ONE OR TWO MOMS TO HELP CUT THE FUR FABRIC AND MOUNT ON VESTS FOR SHEEP (7 COSTUMES). PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU COULD HELP WITH THIS. (Even moms of boys could help with this as your costumes are ready). Thanks!
