Our egg carton Dragons as we travel to China and learn of the customs. 2012 is year of the Dragon in China!

Cooper loved having his sweet Grandpa read to the class last Thursday! He drove all the way from Conyers!

Coopers Grandparents introduced the book "Miss Rumphius" last week for "R" week. Nana also read to the students today after Poetry Recital.

Justin Parsonnet stopped by the classroom to read the day before leaving for Africa Missions trip. Please pray for Justin, his team and the Parsonnets throughout this week.

Jacob's grandpa, Dennis Lee, introduced our BOTW Animals of the African Savannna. Kids were thrilled to have him share pictures from his many Missions Trips to Africa.

Vin's Show-n-Tell for "T" Week was his Lego Train and Track!

Joshua was thrilled to have his mom, Melinda, read Owl Moon to the class last Thursday. He stayed on top of the day asking every 15 minutes or so when she was scheduled to arrive.

Cow costumes are complete! Made last year by one of our wonderful moms who has moved to Texas. Bless her!

Kyra models our sheep costume. These have been ordered and will arrive on Thursday. I do need help from a couple of moms in attaching the fur to a plastic vest.

Our hand and thumbprint flag with 13 stripes and 50 stars. The note above was signed by students in our class and given to one of the Veterans as he left that day!

Iris' grandfather, Hal Clark helped the children understand more about Veteran's Day as he shared about the branches of the Military and introduced our book, All Those Secrets of the World.

What a Wacky Wednesday! The students loved having Chris Burns read the favorite Dr. Suess book as they nestled under the tables.

Joshua learns to spin wool into thread during a visit from the Wool Lady from Atlanta History Center.

Coopers "Mimi" read to the class on Wednesday. Wonderful to have her in the classroom! Special lady!

Vin's grandmother, Kathy O'Toole, read "Maybelle" to the class. It was awesome to hear her share as she has lived in California and has been able to ride the San Francisco cable cars many times!

Chris Burns, our dad of the month helps us celebrate S week and Boosterthon pledges as he helps serve Sundaes.

Jon Colcord, Joshua's grandfather, reads "Max and the Steam Shovel". The boys in our class especially loved this book!
